Privacy Policy
On this page
This policy explains how Tinstac LLC, doing business as nstinx ("nstinx", "we", "us"), collects, uses and shares information when you use the nstinx mobile apps and this website (together, the "Service"). If you have questions, email support@nstinx.com.
Information you give us
- Account details. Your email address and password, your name, and your Village name if you join the community.
- Baby profiles. Details you add about your child or pregnancy, such as a name or nickname, birth or due date, and photos you choose to add to milestones or your pregnancy journal.
- Logs and records. The entries you create, such as feeds, sleep, diapers, pumping, baths, tummy time, growth measurements, milestones and notes about doctor visits.
- Ask Bex. The questions you ask and the answers you get. To answer, your question and the related parts of your logs are sent to an AI service provider that works on our behalf. It may not use your information to train its models, keeps it for no more than 30 days for safety and abuse monitoring, and then deletes it. We never send your name, email address or photos. You can delete any conversation at any time.
- Visit recordings. If you record a doctor's visit (only with everyone's consent), the audio is sent to a speech service provider to make a transcript, then deleted; the transcript goes to the same AI service provider, under the same limits, to write the notes. The transcript and notes are kept with the visit until you delete them.
- Community content. Posts, comments, replies, reactions, direct messages, groups you create or join, and the people you follow or block.
- Support and feedback. What you send us when you contact support or submit feedback, including any screenshot you choose to attach.
Information collected automatically
- Usage and diagnostics. How the app is used (for example, which screens are opened), crash reports and performance data, along with device type, operating system and app version.
- Website visits. On nstinx.com, which pages are visited, the site or link that brought you, and your device, browser and approximate region (never your precise location). This is measured with analytics cookies and is used only to understand and improve the site, not to show you ads. You can block or clear cookies in your browser at any time.
- Notifications. A device token so we can send the push notifications you turn on.
- Purchases. Whether you have an active subscription and its status. In-app payments are processed by Apple or Google, and web payments by our payment processor. We never receive your card details.
- Age range from your app store. On iPhone (iOS 26 and later) we ask Apple’s Declared Age Range, and on Android, where Google Play offers it, Google Play Age Signals, for your age range. See “Children” below.
How we use information
- To run the Service: store your logs, show your baby's history and insights, and deliver community features.
- To keep the community safe: enforce our rules, act on reports and blocks, and prevent abuse and fraud.
- To send notifications you have turned on, and to reply to you when you contact us.
- To fix bugs, understand which features are used and improve the Service.
- To manage subscriptions and meet our legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your baby's information for advertising.
What other people can see
Baby profiles and logs are private to your account and to anyone you choose to share them with. In the community, other members see your @username and the content you post. The community is text-only by design: no photos, avatars or display names are shown there. Direct messages are visible only to the people in the conversation, and to us when needed to investigate a report or enforce our rules.
Retention and deletion
We keep your information for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time in the app under Settings. When you do, we delete your name, email and sign-in, and your Village name, posts and messages. Logs you made for a family stay with that family, marked “Former member”, so a child’s history stays whole. If you are the only parent in a family, that family, its baby profiles and every log in it are deleted too. You have 30 days to change your mind: sign back in and your account won’t be deleted. We keep limited records only where we must, to meet legal obligations, resolve disputes or prevent abuse. Backups are cleared on a rolling schedule. You can also request deletion by emailing support@nstinx.com.
Your choices and rights
- View and edit most of your information directly in the app.
- Turn notifications on or off in the app or in your device settings.
- Ask us for a copy of your information, or to correct or delete it.
Depending on where you live (including California, other U.S. states and Canada), you may have additional rights to access, correct, delete or port your information and to appeal a decision we make about your request. To use any of these rights, email support@nstinx.com. We will not treat you differently for exercising them.
Children
nstinx is built for parents and caregivers. You must be at least 13 to use it.
How we learn your age. When you sign up, we first ask your phone’s app store for your age range: Apple’s Declared Age Range on iPhone (iOS 26 and later), or Google Play Age Signals on Android where Google offers it. If the store answers, we don’t ask you. If it doesn’t, we ask you once for an age range. If the store later reports a younger range than the one we have, we use the younger one.
What we keep. Only your age range (under 13, 13–15, 16–17, or 18 and over), whether it came from you, Apple or Google, and, on Android, the install ID Google Play provides, which we use only to act when a parent revokes their approval.
How we use it. Only to give you an age-appropriate experience: under 13, you can’t use nstinx; under 18, you can track your baby, but the community (the Village) opens when you turn 18. We never use your age signal for advertising or for anything else.
Supervised accounts. If your app store says a parent manages your account and their approval is pending or was declined, nstinx stays locked until they approve it in the store.
The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. Information about a baby is entered by the parent or caregiver who controls the account. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.
Security
We protect information with encryption in transit, access controls and security rules that limit who can read each record. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
International users
We are based in the United States, and your information is processed and stored there. By using the Service, you understand that your information will be handled under U.S. law.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and let you know in the app or by email before the changes take effect.
