Tap a chip like "When's the next feed?", "Enough wet diapers today?" or "How did this week compare?". These are answered on your phone from your logs.

Typed questions

Type anything about your baby. Typed questions come with a paid plan, or with being a parent in a family on Duo or Crew. Bex answers from your logs, our own guides and, for everyday care, a short list of trusted sites, and links to guides in the Library. It doesn't answer health or medical questions: those get a card pointing you to your pediatrician.

Bex uses an AI service to answer typed questions. What you ask isn't used to train models.

What Bex won't do

Bex doesn't diagnose, never tells you a symptom is normal, and won't give medicine doses. Some words get a straight answer before anything else, like Call your pediatrician now or Call 911 now. If you're struggling, Bex shows people to call, any time.

Limits

Answers get lighter if the month's budget runs low, and there's a daily limit. Bex is back tomorrow.

Turn Ask Bex off in Settings › Bex & Bean.
