Getting around the app

The tabs

  • Home: today, and logging.
  • Journal: everything logged, by day, week or month.
  • Village: groups and messages, for 18 and up.
  • Family: your kids, your crew and visits. Settings is the gear on this tab.

Home's day views

Home shows the day as a Ring or as Blocks (24 blocks, one per hour), and you can flip to Since last, Tally or Shifts. Pick the one Home opens with in Settings › Home & logging › Default day view.

Home's header has Ask Bex (Ask Bean at night), your notifications, and Switch child when you have more than one.

Watch and widgets

On iPhone there's a home screen widget ("Since last") with Feed, Diaper and Sleep buttons, lock screen widgets, and live timers on the lock screen. Android has a home screen widget and a timer notification. The Apple Watch and Wear OS apps quick-log feeds, bottles, diapers, sleep and pumping, and run timers. Widgets and watches can't log meds or pregnancy logs.
