Adding a baby

Open the Family tab and tap +, then pick Already here or On the way.

A baby who's here

Add their name and birthday. That's all you need to start logging.

A baby on the way

• Who's carrying: one of you, a surrogate, or you're adopting. With a surrogate or an adoption, the pregnancy body logs are hidden.
• How many: one, twins or triplets. Each becomes their own baby.
• A name or nickname (optional) and the due date.

Then pick their color. It's how you tell kids apart across the app.

When the baby arrives

Tap Baby's here! on their card in the Family tab. Only the name is needed now; weight and length can come later. You can tell your crew in the same step.

Your pregnancy logs are safe. They become "Before you were born", the first chapter of the baby's Journal, and Feed, Diaper and Sleep come back to Home.

Twins and siblings

Every plan covers all your babies. With more than one kid, Home has Switch child, and log sheets let you pick who it's for.

View-only parents can't add a baby; the lead can switch to Duo so you both can log.
